Books from Taiwan 2.0 – 文化黑潮之拓展臺流文本外譯

<Books from Taiwan 2.0> is now accepting submissions

1. Purpose:

In order to help Taiwan's outstanding works enter the international stage, MOC Taiwan organized the <Books from Taiwan 2.0 >, selected original Taiwanese publications with international copyright sales potential to be trial-read as English books, and produced English translation samples, book information, and matching websites and exclusive copyright.

2. Submission Period: March 17 - April 17, 2025

3. Eligible Works:

(i) Award categories:

Taiwan original literary/non-literary, comics, and children's book illustrations with the potential for international copyright promotion.

(ii) The selected works will be suitable for publication in BFT Literary/Non-Literary Magazine, Children's Books and Comics Magazine, Comics Magazine, and Asia Special Issue.

(iii) Priority will be given to new books published from March 2024 to the present.

4. Application Conditions:

(i) A publishing house or publishing-related unit that is legally registered or established in Taiwan.

(ii) Individuals who have Taiwan (R.O.C.) nationality.

(iii) The copyright or authorization of the publication should be selected.

5. The maximum number of entries is 40 for literature/non-fiction, 20 for comics, and 20 for children’s books and paintings.

「文化黑潮之拓展臺流文本外譯Books from Taiwan 2.0」徵件開始

一、目的：

為協助臺灣優秀作品登上國際舞台，辦理「文化黑潮之拓展臺流文本外譯Books from Taiwan（BFT）2.0計畫」，嚴選具有國際版權銷售潛力之臺灣原創出版品試譯為英文圖書，並製作英譯樣章、書訊，搭配網站、專屬版權人及海外書展宣傳，予以推廣版權銷售，目標是希望促成海外多語種翻譯出版，開拓臺灣圖書外文市場，增進我國圖書出版業之國際能見度及影響力。

二、徵件時間：114年3月17日00:00至114年4月17日23:59止。

三、徵件內容：

（一）徵選類別：

臺灣原創（作者必須為中華民國國民）文學／非文學、漫畫、童書繪本具有國際版權推廣潛力之作品。

（二）入選作品將適性刊登於BFT文學/非文學冊、童書繪本冊、漫畫冊、亞洲專刊內。

（三）優先收錄2024年3月至今出版的新書。

四、申請資格及條件：

（一）國內合法登記或立案之出版社或出版相關單位。

（二）具中華民國國籍之個人。

（三）應為參選出版品之著作財產權人或授權人。

五、報名件數上限為文學/非文學40本、漫畫20本、童書繪本20本。
