Open Call: Delfina Foundation residency for Taiwanese Artists & Curators

Applications are now open for the 12-week residency in Delfina Foundation, London, in partnership with the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative in the UK. This year's program will take place from June 23 to Sept. 14, offering one artist or curator from and based in Taiwan the opportunity to enhance their career and expand their international network.

This open call includes artists and curators, with no restriction on the theme of creative research. The foundation welcomes applications from a wide range of artistic talents and looks forward to opening a dialogue with the contemporary art community in the UK. Besides having the time and space to refine their work, the successful candidate will be presented with multiple opportunities by the Delfina Foundation, such as to meet and engage with artists, curators, academics, and researchers; to join professional development and mentoring activities; to establish collaborative exchanges between residents through informal gatherings; and guided visits to museums, galleries, non-profits, artist-run spaces, and studios.

The Delfina Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating artistic exchange and developing creative practice through residencies, partnerships, and public programming. Located in the heart of London, the Delfina Foundation has an extensive professional network in the U.K. and Europe, offering various counselling and consultation services.

英國倫敦戴芬娜基金會公開徵選臺灣藝術家或策展人駐村

文化部駐英國代表處文化組持續與倫敦重要駐村機構戴芬娜基金會（Delfina Foundation）合作，今年將選送1名臺灣藝術家或策展人進駐，展開為期12週的駐村計畫，時間為今年6月23日至9月14日，期以促進我國新銳藝術人才發展創作及國際連結經驗。戴芬娜基金會為英國知名藝術發展機構，於英國及歐陸擁有廣泛專業網絡，亦提供多類型的輔導及諮詢，協助藝術家經營國際連結，且坐落於倫敦市中心，地點優越，相當適合有志於國際交流的藝術家進駐。

本次徵選對象包含我國藝術家及策展人，有關創作研究主題則無限制，期待更多藝術人才踴躍報名，並藉由基金會專業輔導及網絡，與英國當代藝術社群發展對話，展現回應全球議題的實力，進一步拓展我國當代藝術人才未來國際參與面向。獲選者除了於駐村期間進行獨立研究以外，基金會將協助及鼓勵同期駐村藝術家之間舉辦非正式的聚會或討論，同時也將安排入選者參加各項外部行程及人脈媒合活動，以利駐村藝術家積極與藝術界互相交流激盪，如安排造訪美術館、藝廊、公共藝術機構、藝術家經營的工作室，也將有機會造訪倫敦以外相關機構、於參訪行程及各種活動中媒合引介當地與國際藝術家、策展人、學者、研究者等，同時也提供專業輔導，包括藝術家同儕之間簡報及互評、針對作品集提供外部策展人諮詢服務、邀請英國本地藝術業界專家提供發展諮詢服務。
