國立臺灣文學館 x 英國國家寫作中心合作
臺灣文學新銳譯者培訓計畫正式啟動！
國立臺灣文學館首次與英國國家寫作中心（National Centre for Writing , NCW）攜手合作，在文化部「臺流文化黑潮計畫」支持下，於NCW 2026／27年度「新銳文學譯者培訓計畫」（Emerging Translator Mentorships Programme）增設「Literature from Taiwan」組別，將由重量級譯者暨作家 Jeremy Tiang 擔任導師，即日起開放新銳譯者申請。
臺灣文學正一步步被世界看見，此次與NCW合作堪稱重要里程碑，期盼藉此培育更多優秀英譯人才，讓臺灣作品跨越語言，走進國際讀者的視野。臺文館將支持獲選譯者與Jeremy Tiang展開為期六個月（2026年10月至2027年3月）的一對一培訓，並於隔年前往倫敦書展見習交流。培訓期間包含線上產業活動、專屬培訓講座、參與國際翻譯日活動，以及文學譯者大會；計畫尾聲將舉辦數位成果展與選集發表會，展現學員譯作成果。此外，獲選者可獲得一年英國作家協會所屬文學譯者協會（Society of Authors/Translators Association）會員資格，為新銳譯者的職業發展提供全方位支持。
本計畫申請截止時間為2026年8月24日（一）英國時間 23：59，誠摯邀請有志於臺灣文學翻譯的新銳譯者踴躍參加徵選。

Taiwan Literature Emerging Translator Mentorships Programme Officially Launched!
The National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL) has partnered with the UK's National Centre for Writing (NCW) for the very first time. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, a new "Literature from Taiwan" strand has been introduced to the NCW's 2026/27 Emerging Translator Mentorships Programme. Renowned translator and writer Jeremy Tiang will serve as the mentor, and applications are now open to emerging translators.
Taiwanese literature is gaining increasing global visibility, and this collaboration with the NCW marks a major milestone. The initiative aims to nurture high-calibre English-language translation talent, enabling Taiwanese works to cross linguistic boundaries and reach international readers.
Programme Highlights:
Six-Month Mentorship The NMTL will support the selected mentee through a six-month one-to-one mentorship with Jeremy Tiang (October 2026 to March 2027).
Industry Experience & London Book Fair The programme includes a study visit to the London Book Fair the following year, online industry networking events, bespoke training workshops, participation in International Translation Day activities, and the International Translation Day Symposium.
Showcase & Membership The mentorship will culminate in a digital showcase and the publication of an anthology featuring the mentees' translations. Furthermore, the selected translator will receive a one-year membership to the Translators Association (part of the Society of Authors), offering comprehensive support for their professional career development.
