Marking the 70th anniversary of Taiyupian —Taiwanese-language film— the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in the UK has partnered with King’s College London to launch the ‘Taiyupian 70th Anniversary Screenings and Symposium’.
On the evening of 19th May, Taiwan Travelogue won of the International Booker Prize — the major award in the world of English-translated literature. Written by Yáng Shuāng-zǐ and translated into English by Lin King, it made the first Taiwanese work ever to do so which set a milestone of Taiwanese literature.

The festival features many Taiwanese works, this diverse lineup highlights Taiwan's cinematic exploration of themes such as gender identity.
Hung Dance presented Push and Pull, a duet choreographed by Lai Hung-chung. Inspired by the balancing principles of Tai Chi, the work explores the dynamics of human relationships.
