Open call to Taiwanese artists for 2025 Edinburgh Fringe ‘Taiwan Season’

Each year, Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture selects teams to participate in 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. For over ten years, this initiative has supported numerous outstanding Taiwanese performing arts groups, enhancing their international perspective, building platforms for exchanges with professionals, and expanding their global performance opportunities. For 2025, the Ministry is supporting the "Taiwan Season" at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, aiming to select three to four groups across various categories, including dance, music, and theatre. Applications are now open and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on December 6 this year. All performing arts groups are encouraged to apply for the chance to participate. A preliminary selection will be conducted by UK-based theatre professionals, followed by a final evaluation by local experts invited by the Ministry of Culture.

The results will be announced separately. Performing arts groups from all fields are encouraged to submit applications, showcasing Taiwan’s diverse performing arts and promoting Taiwanese culture on the world stage.

「愛丁堡藝穗節臺灣季」

文化部針對2025年支持臺灣表演團隊參演愛丁堡藝穗節「臺灣季」，預計分別選出3至4團，類型包含舞蹈、音樂、戲劇及肢體劇場等，自即日起受理徵件至今年12月6日止，歡迎各表演團體報名，爭取參與演出機會。申請角逐團隊將先由英國當地劇院專業人士進行初選，再由文化部邀集國內專業人士評選，評選結果將另行公告。歡迎各表演藝術領域團隊踴躍送件，透過參演國際知名藝術節展現臺灣當今表演藝術多元風貌，將「臺灣文化」這張名片遞向世界。
