Taiwanese Literature Through a Global Gaze｜the literary panel and networking

Following the historic 2026 International Booker Prize win for Taiwan Travelogue, join us for the literary panel and networking reception exploring the growing international presence of Taiwanese literature.

Co-organised by King’s College London and the Cultural Division of TRO in the UK, the event will be hosted by Prof. Chris Berry from KCL, bringing together Taiwan’s Minister of Culture Li Yuan, acclaimed British writer Natasha Brown, poet John McAuliffe, and Anna Goode, Managing Director of British Centre for Literary Translation, .

The panel will explore how Taiwanese literature can reach and connect with English-speaking readers through translation, publishing and international promotion.
